A running journal of the steps I take toward independent income: what I try, what I measure, and what I drop. No promises, only honest notes from one creator building several streams slowly.
Each entry records one decision, its reasoning, and what happened afterward, so readers can judge the approach for themselves.
Three active income pillars
Each pillar is a channel I am testing separately, with its own costs and time limits, so no single source carries the whole plan.
Digital assets
Original artwork and sketch packs sold as files, tracked monthly for cost of time against what each piece returns.
Creator royalties
Small royalty and licensing income from writing and illustration, reported as it arrives rather than projected forward.
Foundational investments
Slow, diversified personal investments that run in the background, reviewed on a fixed schedule and kept separate from creative spending.
Slow systems over quick promises
Speculative short-term promises usually depend on luck and on someone else's audience. I treat them with suspicion and record when I am tempted by one.
Compounding systems are slower and less exciting to write about. They build over years, so each month I log what changed, what stalled, and what I will stop doing.
